Think #6-A Picture Mosaic
This Saturday, March 13th, will be our 6th wedding anniversary! This is also the first time that our wedding date will fall on the Saturday that starts both of our Spring Breaks; just like on our wedding day! How special!?!?! Happy Anniversay to us!?!! Sigh! I made this on Big Huge Labs on the Mosaic maker.
This Mosaic Maker could be used to display activities that have been going on in the library. It could also showcase a grade level's top reads.
I also made this trading card on Big Huge Labs on the Trading Card maker. This would be a great tool to use to showcase teachers, students, books with their summaries, and explanations of different concepts and vocabulary. Now I know how my students created a card of me last year. I still have it printed out! (smile).

Thing #5-Flickr Fun!
I found this beautiful picture of the Corpus Christi Shoreline on flickr! Isn't it beautiful? If you haven't been, you should go. It may not be the Virgin Islands, but it's a quick getaway! Take me to Corpus!
I discovered more ways to get a picture off of flickr: right-click on picture and click save target as, right-click on picture and click save picture as!
This next pic is one of my Corpus Christi Beach photos from last summer, on a drier, sunny day. I took this picture with my then-new-camera, probably a few yards back and over to the right from where the person who shot their flickr(above) picture from. It was a side entrance.

Thing #3-Extension/Update
I now look like a person and not the Corpus Chrisit shoreline! I had to save the picture onto my computer and then upload it. I still haven't figured out which library it is, though!

Thing #3: Set up your own blog
I must admit, the thought of having a blog horrified me. I've always read blogs but never had or commented on one. Creating this was easier than I thought. As an avatar, I used one of my favorite scenery pictures from Corpus Christi from last summer. It is definitely prettier than Galveston! I can't believe that so many businesses were so close to the shoreline!?!?! I used some of my favorite colors to customize my blog: lavendar, pastel green, light gold, and purple!
Thing #2: Lifelong Learning
It may be a little difficult for me to view problems as challenges. For example, I've been trying to lose my maternity weight and get fit again, but I keep on badly injuring my right knee. I do not see how this could be a challenge!?!?!
I don't have any problems with playing. I love to play. I use play to unwind or to pursuade my students.
